Changing the Colors

Right about now our photo(s) should look similar to the following. If it's not exact don't sweat it.

Now it's your turn to play! I really can't tell you what looks good and what doesn't. It's a matter of taste and I doubt you want the tastes of an old skater that listened to The Cure and Skinny Puppy all his life when, say you dig, Kanye West (like him too by the way).

To be safe, you're best bet is to duplicate the photo layer a few times. Layer » Duplicate Layer... and name it what you like. Do this every time you try out a new filter. The image filters I used were...

• Image » Adjustments » Hue/Saturation..
• Image » Adjustments » Color Balance...
• and for something truly twisted, Image » Adjustments » Curves...

Just play around with these filters. Exaggerate, tug, get tanked and then come back to try this. Whatever you need to do, it's all you. You can't be wrong so why not go a little psychotic with this. You can always Undo anything you hate. This is what I came up with...

Didn't come up with anything good using the filters? Well try drop dropping in your own color choices using the paint bucket tool. The colors I used are a bit over the top just to show some separation. The paint bucket settings I used were a Tolerance of 20 and I set Contiguous to none.
