SPECIALTY BAR ASSOCIATION FORMING FOR NJ CIVIL RIGHTS ATTORNEYS
Membership is open to plaintiffs' attorneys who practice predominantly in the area of protecting of citizens' rights against abuses by governmental bodies and their agents and employees.
The founder and president is Robert A. Bianchi, partner of Bianchi & Bianchi, LLC of Bloomfield. The vice-president is Jeffrey G. Garrigan, partner of Cammarata Nultey & Garrigan, LLC of Jersey City.
ACRA-NJ is dedicated to the full adherence to the Constitutions of the United States and the State of New Jersey and to holding governmental officials accountable who abuse their authority and violate their duty to protect the public from constitutional harm. While handling a wide range of constitutional abuses, the organization specifically addresses issues of false arrest, malicious prosecution, assaults, and police brutality.
One of the organization's initial programs will be an online message board to help members exchange research, statistics, information, practice tips, and evidence of specific illegal activities.
